Next season of LONG GONG 2025! This will be a limited series starting in April, brought to you by DOPE PRECISION and the Local Eastern Idaho NRL22 club. This 6-match series will wrap up in September and will test your ability to stretch your rifle’s limits as you strategically try to outwit and outshoot your fellow competitors on targets 300 yards out, from 8” down to 6” down to 4”! All shooters will engage targets from a bench position with 1 rear bag and a forward bipod through 5 strings of 10 rounds for a total of 50 rounds.
For full rules and match information, check out the upcoming event page by clicking here!
The match will be held in the Jackpot format, where the entry fees ($10 cash) of all the competitors will be combined and added to the “pot” where it will be divided among the top shooter and runner up*… So, the more shooters the bigger the pot! Bring your friends! The winner of the series and runners up will be decided by the total percentage (100 points for first, the rest of the scores based on the percentage curve) scores of the 6 matches, dropping the 2 lowest match scores for a best of 4 out of 6. If there is a tie, the winner will be decided by their highest match score. For example, if a shooter wins the match with a 56, his score will be 100. If the second place shooter shoots a 49, his score will be 49/56= .875, or 87.5 points.
WE WILL HAVE A PRIZE TABLE FOR THE SERIES CHAMPION AND RUNNER/S UP!
NOTE: Matches may change dates as the series progresses due to any or all of the following: Director/management availability, Range scheduling conflicts, Time allowance for the match, or extreme/unpredictable weather. Stay tuned to the website and socials for any changes as the series continues!!
* Runner-up payout happens if there is10 or more shooters

Long Gong Series #1
Our first of 6 events kicked off today, and it was a rough entry into LONG GONG! with gusts and steadily shifting winds of 20 to 35 mph, eight brave souls attempted to outwit the competition and predict the wind in an effort to gain the upper hand on the Leaderboard. Braedon Briscoe came out on top, taking the win with his trusty RIM X in the last round! Congratulations!

Beautiful weather for the 2nd event in our LONG GONG series with gentle to nearly non-existent wind, the scores improved and so did the shooting! With a growing list of shooters, the top shooter again was Braedon Briscoe who also improved his club record with a new Match High Score and String High Score… and doing it with his FX Panthera Airgun to boot! Long Gong Series #3
Okay, who turned the wind up to 11?! Without a doubt, the wind was swirling and didn’t stop for anyone, so there was nothing else to do but forge ahead!
We had a new winner this week, with Preston Fuss and his CZ457 taking the top spot and $80 bucks, knocking out Braedon Briscoe and keeping him from a three-peat. Braedon took home 2nd place honors and $40, not a bad consolation prize. This was also our largest turnout yet, with 14 competitors slinging lead and having a great time!

Long Gong Series #4
The temperature dropped and so did the number of competitors, but the competition was the hottest it has been since the series started! Out of the 9 brave souls who took their shot at the cash prize, nearly all had personal bests on the day! Lane Pedersen and Wylie Fuhriman tied the club Shot String record at 16, but the winner of the match and $90 bucks cash was Travis Garrett and his MPA Vudoo. Congratulations!

Long Gong Series #5
It was too bad we had our lowest turnout of the series ( Thanks Hunting Season!) because it was a banger of a match! Nearly every shooter had personal bests and the club single string record and match score record were smashed! The weather was about as good at it could get too, with the wind pretty tame throughout the match.
Josh Hughes put the new manners cz457 to work, shooting a club string record of 21 in the first round! When the dust settled, It was Wylie Fuhriman and the purple Rim-X taking home $70 with the win, as well as a club match record of 77 points! Congratulations!

Long Gong Series #6
Our last match of the series was a nail biter, with the final standings shaken by the match outcome! It was cold and snowing, with gusty winds and periods of calmness on the wind flags. We had 11 shooters for the finale , all who braved the cold for a little longer and wrapped the series up with one hell of a good time. When it was all over, Travis Garrett took his 2nd win this season with a score of 45, followed by the always consistent Braedon Briscoe with a 38. They split the cash pot with $80 and $40 dollar cash prizes. Congratulations!
